About Us
We Believe Prepping Is For Everyone.
It's the responsibility of all of us to be prepared for the unknown. To care for our families and our neighbors.
We are all stronger and more capable working and prepping together.
Lamar & Sheila
Hello,
We're Lamar and Sheila and we live in the Northeast U.S.
We believe that regardless of your background, gender, race, or age… everyone should be prepared for a crisis situation. Whether it’s a major disaster or a temporary emergency, readiness could mean the difference between life and death.
You don’t have to be a dedicated survival prepper to be in a state of readiness. From soccer moms to wall street executives to retired grandparents, we’re all just people living our lives and enjoying our families. Should something happen to disrupt our lives, we all need to play a part in effectively taking care of ourselves, our families, and our neighbors. If we all do that, we all will survive and thrive together.
This doesn't mean that we do all the prepping while others do nothing. The reality is that we cannot save those that won't prepare to save themselves. However, we are more than willing to help those that prepare with us. There is strength in numbers.
We are the first to admit that we're not yet prepared. We are new to prepping and learning fast. We recently woke up and realized that we are not prepared for a crisis situation. We are now in the midst of correcting this oversight. We are on a journey, one that involves a lot of learning, skill building, and prepping.
We find it is much more enjoyable to share our journey with others, learning together, and preparing together. This is why we started BestSurvivalPrepper.com. It's still in it's infancy, however, our community is growing everyday. Our focus is reaching out to people who are just like we were. People who are simply unaware. People living their busy lives in the suburbs and urban areas and thinking that things will simply continue as they are right now (well, meaning before COVID-19 hit). Thinking the grocery stores will never run out of food and if something happens, well... somebody will come save us.
We want to help open people's eyes, just as our eyes have been opened to the true reality. The reality that there is a very thin line between living the comfortable life we live today and trying to simply survive tomorrow, should a crisis situation occur that threatens our livelyhood.
We look forward to meeting new preppers, learning from the prepper community, and contributing what we can as we grow and develop our prepping skills and knowledge.
Be well, stay safe, and be prepared to survive and thrive.
Lamar & Sheila
